This and That

I know it’s all over the news, but please take a moment to pray for the victims of the disaster in Haiti. If you are able, and interested in making a donation, please visit GIVEMN.org.

If you haven’t had a chance, please stop by and say hi at the eharlequin forum.

My interview with Love Western Romances will be up all month, and includes a short excerpt from Wedding Night with the Ranger.

The American Rose Christmas Anthology was voted Book of the Week at The Long and Short Reviews. Here’s the review. My story is A Solider for Christmas.

I received word that the third Quinter Brides Book, Boot Hill Bride will be released in April instead of July. (Yeah)

I’m off in the morning for the Iron Range. I’m taking my mom for a visit with my uncle. It’s a five hour drive one way, and we must return tomorrow night because our oldest son and his wife are leaving for Mexico early Saturday morning and I’m the lucky person who gets to drive them to the Minneapolis Airport at 2:30 in the morning. Jess and I then have a date at the Casino on Saturday night. We will return home in time to watch the Vikings game on Sunday. I still have high hopes of getting some writing done on the fourth Quinter Bride book this weekend.

Back from Kansas--again.

The holidays are over and the decorations are all put away. Having little Santa believers made the season very enjoyable and precious this year.

We made another journey to Kansas. My mother-in-law passed away between Christmas and New Years. She was a special lady, and will be missed. Even with the sadness we are thankful we had the opportunity to celebrate her life and share the joys and sorrows with family and friends.

On the writing side…Please visit Love Western Romances if you have a chance. And next week I’ll be featured in a forum at eHarlequin. (Here’s the link but it won’t be live until Monday.) Stop in and say hi.

I’m a touch behind on my writing, but still hope to get the first draft of the fourth Quinter Bride story done by the end of January.

Stay warm, everyone!
