New Release and Free Read

Daring to Dream of the Duke will be released tomorrow, March 31, 2026!

A Cinderella, best friend’s brother Victorian romance!

A wallflower…

fit for a duke?

Rosemary Crofton has always dreamed of marrying a dashing duke…just like her best friend’s brother, Michael Knight! But as Rosemary’s stepmother always reminds her, someone so clumsy, plain and unrefined could never hope for such a future.

Yet when enigmatic Michael needs Rosemary’s help protecting his sister, she’s suddenly facing a season on His Grace’s arm! As she’s whisked between the ton’s most fashionable addresses—including London Zoo!—she begins to feel that someone like her could belong in Michael’s world. Will Rosemary write her own fairy-tale ending and claim her Knight in shining armor after all?

There is a touch of backstory as to how this book came about for me on the Mills and Boon Blog

And I'm excited to share that this book is my 60th book with Harlequin!

Writing for them has been such an incredible journey!

This is also the first book in the Brides for Sworn Bachelors series. Book two, Resisting the Roguish Captain, will be released in July.

The lady who would not be wed…

A rogue to break her rules?

Lady Meridith Downs longs to be married. She’s just determined it won’t be to any of the “suitable” (read: stifling) suitors her family have picked out! True love should feel like an adventure, and Meridith would rather be a spinster than settle for less.

Enter Captain Drake Taylor. More at home at sea than in Society, Drake’s roguish reputation should send any sensible lady running. Instead, his teasing charm awakens desires Meridith can’t ignore. But actually falling for a man who won’t be tied down might be an adventure too far…

And, Book three, In Need of a Noble Bride is a FREE online READ at Harlequin.com!

High society bachelor Rafael must take a wife! But the only one he wants—opera singer Willette—is the one he can’t have…

I loved writing all three of these stories, especially the common tie in each book—Hugo. Hugo is an elephant at the London Zoo and impacts all three couples during their journey to ever-after.

As now, many of you have most likely heard that Harlequin is closing their Historical Line as reported in may places, including this article at Parade

Note about a mistake in the article that is my fault. When I made the post about the closing of the line, I stated I’d written for Harlequin for 10 years, but I meant to say I’d been writing for them since 2010. Sorry for the confusion!

I am excited to say that between now and the closing date of September 2027, I will have an additional three books released in the line. One is about a Duke and his Caribbean Princess, and the next two are a Victorian/Gilded Age duet about two brothers Clark and Bram Harrison. The books are all completed and with my editor, going through the editing/publishing processes.

With all that said, I’ve loved writing for Harlequin and will miss creating historical stories for them and am currently researching other options/opportunities.

I also want to say thank you to all of my dedicated historical readers. I appreciate each and every one of you for supporting my writing career over the years. You are simply the best!

Cheers!
