Stolen Kiss with the Hollywood Starlet

An innocent country girl…

With stars in her eyes!

In this Brides of the Roaring Twenties story, hotshot lawyer Walter Russell knows an innocent country girl like Shirley Burnette is going to find it tough in cutthroat Hollywood. A stolen kiss with this bright, young singer may be worthy of the silver screen—but Walter hates show business and has sworn off starlets. He knows he should steer well clear…if only he wasn’t so compelled to help her!

I loved this book, everything about it; the setting, the era, the clothes, the dialogue…everything! – From Frankie, reviewer with Chicks, Rogues and Scandals.

I enjoy writing these stories set in Hollywood during the roaring twenties so much that I signed a contract for three more to be released in 2020—Sisters of the Roaring Twenties!

The summer months passed by quickly for us with several trips up north to work on the bunk house we are building on our property to add more sleeping space and a large indoor gathering space for our growing family.

June brought us another granddaughter on the 18th! She is perfect in every way!

July was filled with berry picking (several varieties), making jam, and birthday parties that were loads of fun.

August was happy and sad. I traveled to Nebraska to see my brother, which was so fun. The sadness came on the 20th when we had to say our final good-byes to our wonderful grand-dog Bear. He was one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs.

Now, it’s September. The grandkids are back in school and Papa and I are busy with all the things that didn’t get done yet, but need to before the winter rolls around.

Laugh every day, love every day, and count your blessings, for life is good.
