Happy November!

Brrr… We had the coldest Halloween in over ten years, but that didn’t stop the festivities. Papa took the four-wheeler and trailer to town and drove our group of trick or treaters around the neighborhoods. Our grandson’s favorite treat was the jar of homemade pickles he received when he trick or treated Uncle Cody.

Today, while the blistery weather continues, I have a fire going in the wood stove, and Uncle Cody just stopped over and built a fire in the stove in the sauna for us all to enjoy this evening. Yep, it’s that time of year.

If you're looking to snuggle up and read a book today, several of mine are on sale for $.99, $1.99, $2.99, etc. You can view them on my Amazon page.

And over at The Pink Heart Society today there is a fun post about favorite time periods, and a poll to vote for your favorite.

I wrote about my favorite time period—the wild west—however today, I’m deep in edits for my WW2 story. It’s been fun to write in this new-to-me era. The hero is Dale Johnson from North Dakota and the heroine is Kathryn Winslow from London.
Once the edits are complete on this story, I’ll be back to writing a western. Another Christmas one, which are always fun.

Stay warm and embrace the days as the holidays arrive one after the other!!
