Again, I must apologize for the delay in posts. We made it back from Kansas but then I had a very busy work at week, which has been followed by company from out of town. One of my brothers from Nebraska is here, and it’s been wonderful visiting with him, but we’ve tended to stay up until Mid-night each night just talking and reminiscing. I must admit…I’m looking forward to a long and relaxing weekend.
I received a notice last week that Shotgun Bride will be available sooner than thought in print. It will be released in e-book in November and then print in February. I’m working on the third book in the series, Boot Hill Bride. If the titles of this series don’t change during the editing process, they will be: Shotgun Bride, Badland Bride, Boot Hill Bride, Garden Bride and Wildcat Bride. While in Kansas I was able to spend sometime with my husband’s uncle talking about the early oil days in the region, and am now anxious to do more research for Wildcat Bride. I’m also working on four short stories and the final galley for An April to Remember.
My car made the trip to and from Kansas wonderfully. I love driving her--however this week she has been back at the Ford dealer getting the decals put on as well as a few other ‘extra’s’ I had ordered. My loaner car is an orange and black Dodge Caliber, if I painted triangles on her door’s she’d look like a jack-o-lantern!
I hope you all a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
