Got another review for A Wife for Big John this week.
Trudy from Once Upon a Romance rated it 4.5 and said, “Ms. Robinson’s writing kept me turning the pages. I couldn’t wait to find out what Dani and John would do next. The characters are loveable and very human with real emotion. I enjoyed the subtle inspirational message that God’s plan is always the best. Ms. Robinson’s research into lumber camps of the time is well-worth noting as her explanations give just the right amount of detail to understand the occupation. A Wife for Big John is a tender, feel-good story. You don’t have to concentrate to try and keep the plot straight. Just sit back, relax and transport yourself to 1893 in northern Minnesota.”
I’m touched she mentioned the research and the inspirational message. This book is very close to my heart because so much of the research came from sitting with my father and listening to his stories the last couple months he was with us.
I’m also anxious to get a print copy in August to share with Dad's younger brother, my Uncle Ralph, who suggested I write in a character and name him Richard Roy, a friend of his.
Well...I’ll be busy shopping this weekend…The countdown to our oldest son’s July wedding has begun!

Congrats on another great review! It's a great book and delivers a great read! Good luck with the wedding preparations! I've attended three weddings so far this month and have one more to go!
Thanks Paty, it has been so fun to get these reviews!
The wedding has been a lot of fun to plan, and the kids are so happy!
Yikes, four weddings in a month...there has to be a story in there!
